CDI is committed to community outreach and education. We offer training programs to professionals in early education and childcare, health care and mental health. Our training
programs are unique. We provide the link between the latest research in the fields of early childhood development and
the techniques that our expert clinicians use with the clients that we serve.
We offer professionals the opportunity to develop their skills through set training modules on a variety of topics, or through customized programs. Our training programs are backed by extensive experience in delivering effective, practical training. They are grounded in the strongest research available, and delivered by expert instructors chosen to match an organization’s needs. Our goal is to provide support and
training to professionals who can empower families and
communities by promoting early childhood relationships,
education and comprehensive family development.
We also offer CEU’s for Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists. If your organization is
interested in offering this to your staff, please let us know.

Customizing your Training Program
Because every organization is unique, the process of developing a customized professional development program also varies. The process will always involve your input so that our trainers truly understand your goals. We believe that collaborative relationships are important and necessary, so we will remain closely involved throughout the training to evaluate and maximize the impact of the training on your program.
The typical training development process includes the following components:
1. Getting to Know Your Organization: We learn as much about your program, objectives, current staff knowledge and goals for professional development; including what your staff is currently doing, what they want to do and why.
2. Needs Analysis: CDI works with you to begin to identify trainings that meet your needs, objectives and timeline. We also will identify staff whose background and expertise fits your staff culture.
3. Proposal: The fact finding sessions are solidified into a proposal presented for your organization’s review and approval. The proposal includes the training modules, evidenced-based research for the training your staff will receive, trainer CV’s and fees. CDI is also a provider of CEU’s for psychologists, MFT’s and LCSW and will assist your organization to make these available for your staff.
4. Training: We make sure that our trainers deliver the highest quality product to your organization. Throughout the training process, we will check with you to monitor their progress, get feedback and make adjustments if necessary.
5. Follow Up: After the training program is completed, we will return to your site to evaluate how effective the program was for your organization, how your staff is currently using the training in their daily work and if any other needs have come up that need to be addressed. We also will return to help troubleshoot any part of the training that your staff is having difficulty implementing with the populations that they work with.
